The latest typhoon wasn’t even a typhoon. It never got big enough to go above tropical storm status. I suppose that’s no small comfort to the dozen or so people it killed in China.
It landed pretty close to here, but I didn’t hear about any damage in Hong Kong. There was a lot of rain, but there’s been a lot of that lately anyway.
